Nova Biomedical is hiring a Planar Sensor Prep Operator on the Second Shift (3:00 P.M. - 11:30 P.M.- This includes a 10% Shift Differential) in our Waltham, MA facility. The primary job function is to perform the preparation operations required to assist in the manufacturing of Planar Sensor products to meet both internal and external customer demands. Functions may include glass insertion, operate gantry unit to apply UV epoxy, UV epoxy curing , laser etching of media sheets, cleaning of parts prior to assembly and labeling and packaging of product. Other responsibilities include:

• Ability to perform cleaning and preparation of Planar Sensor cards
• Ability to load glass into holders for future operations.
• Ability to operate gantry automation equipment.
• Ability to work with various packaging equipment such as: automated/manual tape machines, auto bag machines, heat sealers and other packaging devices.
• Person must be able to work alternately in a seated or standing position.
• Person must be dependable, willing to learn, adapt to change and have a positive attitude.
• Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions and related documentation to assemble, label, and package various product is required.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of GMP
• Read and write English
• High school degree or GED equivalent
• Candidate is required to have (0-3) years in a manufacturing environment
