Nova Biomedical is hiring a Team Leader to support our Eastwood Consumables Manufacturing team in our Waltham, MA facility. This position reports directly to the supervisor/manager of Allegro Consumables Manufacturing. The individual will assist the supervisor/manager in overseeing the daily activities within the Allegro work cell to assure all work meets quality and output standards to meet the rigorous schedule for the various Allegro products. This position requires the person to be a "team player," willing to learn, and eager to implement and adapt to change. Other responsibilities include:

• This person is expected to monitor assemblers' performance, correct problems, and pass information on to the supervisor/manager
• Knowledge of the following processes is required: automated dispensing of chemistries, plasma treatment of products, vacuum drying, automated labeling and pouching of consumables, and completing paperwork for final inspection.
• Additional responsibilities include: product inspection, line clearances/setups, troubleshooting of process equipment, communicating issues to engineering, maintaining safety standards, general housekeeping, and training of personnel on existing and new processes.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must meet all requirements for Tech Operator I, consumables
• Ability to function as back-up to Group Leader
• HAZCOM training; Chemical Hygiene Training; QSR/ISO Regulations; AP, TP, OI, and OP training specific to the area of responsibility
• SAP training

Education/Experience:

• High School/Trade School diploma with good math and communication skills
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading people in a GMP environment, or a full qualification as Tech Operator I, or combined experience within Allegro Consumables Department.
