About the role
- The International Regional Sales Manager will develop the regional business plan and strategy and achieve the revenue and product portfolio targets while staying within the OpEx plan.
- Build and manage the distribution channel and market activity of new and existing distributors by leading quarterly business reviews, conducting sales trainings in country, and leading by example.
- Sell with science and position the unique value of Nova’s products to distributors, their key customers as well as partner with Nova’s Medical and Scientific Affairs group (MASA), all in support of local KOLs and distributor teams.
- Conduct market research, competitive research and present Business Plans for all new products as well as existing products that have not yet achieved expected market share.
- The International Regional Sales Manager is a field-based position reporting directly to the Senior Director of International Sales.

What you’ll do
- The main responsibilities of this position will be to manage Nova Biomedical’s international distributors in the LATAM Region (excluding Brazil).
- Ensure all distributors are maximizing their time and effort to promote, sell and support Nova Biomedical products to reach established targets, ensure Regional Dealer sales personnel are trained in the proper use and effective techniques for standardized sales presentations and processes for all product groups, work with corporate sales and marketing departments to modify standardized presentations, marketing and promotional materials for use in different country specific markets, communicate on a day-to-day basis with the Senior Director, International Sales, in all sales matters and provide guidance for preparing bid and tender quotations, cost analyses and justifications and all other information that requires regular communication.
- Develop and renew Distributor Agreements ensuring annual quotas and product forecasts are met and / or exceeded.
- Meet guidelines and deadlines for Operational mechanisms including but not limited to; salesforce.com weekly updating, consistent use of Power Business Intelligence (PBI) sales reporting tool to support business decisions, forecasting, calendar planning, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- This position will work with the Senior Director of International Sales, Nova Biomedical’s Global Product Managers, Marketing, Medical & Scientific Affairs, International Technical Support, Order Services, and International Accounting/Finance departments in order to manager the day-to-day business and ensure the highest level of sales within the region
- Liaise with the Global Sales Training Manager to ensure additional support as necessary for regional trainings as well as onboarding of new distributor personnel focused on Nova Products.
- Liaise with the Regional Medical & Scientific Affairs to identify and develop regional/country KOL’s
What we are looking for in you
- 10+ years of medical diagnostics industry related sales with 3+ years of international distributor management experience and a proven track record of success and advancement
- The successful candidate shall be an energetic, effective, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills who is able to excel in an international sales environment
- Diagnostic or clinical sales background experience
- Must reside in an area with easy access to the territory; willingness to travel at least 50% of time
- Sales experience in Osmometers, POC testing, bedside glucose monitoring or Blood Gas systems
- A direct “hands-on” approach to sales and management with a high level of communication skills
- Result-driven with influential negotiation skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- BA/BS in Business, Science, or Clinical Laboratory Medicine
- Diagnostics or Laboratory experience and training desired
Physical Requirements for this role include:
- Ability to travel by car and plane for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel overnight as needed
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- General office exertions
- Ability to wear PPE

Work Location: Remote position in field, Greater Mexico City area (Mexico)
Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday, General business hours with travel at minimum 50%.
Targeted Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000 USD
