Job Summary:

The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen. This position requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to upholding sanitation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using industrial dishwashers or by hand
  • Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards
  • Organize cleaned dishes and utensils appropriately for storage
  • Empty trash bins regularly and maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen areas
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of kitchen waste and cleaning chemicals.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding sanitation, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues related to kitchen equipment or facilities to management.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform all special cleaning projects assigned by management.
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Physical stamina
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

Work Location: on-site in our Waltham facility 5 days/week (M-F)

Targeted Salary Range: $18 - $21/hr

Working Hours: 7:30am -3:30pm
