Nova Biomedical is hiring an International Clinical/Biotech Hotline Specialist to provide front-line support, from queries and issues brought in via emails, texts or direct phone calls from APAC dealers, for Nova products. Support would be both technical - maintenance and troubleshooting and applications related (QC, data review, implementations planning, demo systems support). Support for complex issues would be passed to either appropriate regional Support Manager &/or regional applications specialist(s).

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or graduates with limited field/work experience.

More specific responsibilities will include:

• Perform basic dealer/customer email/text/pone support for device operation, maintenance, and front-line troubleshooting assistance for Nova clinical, meter and biotech products.
• Filter dealer and customer emails & texts for Sr Support Manager and Application Specialists, and pass follow-up communications to support team as needed.
• Assist dealers with scheduling Nova support and applications visits and assistance.
• Do basic data tabulation and data review for completed lab-studies, correlations, implementations, and work with Applications team to prepare Evaluation Reports for Clinical & BioProfile products.
• Assist troubleshooting with Regional Service Managers and Clinical Products Support Manager for dealers POC & Blood Gas applications and technical support problems/issues.
• Work with Clinical Products Support Manager to support new product launches (support, applications, training).
• Office based (Nova Taiwan) position- M-F (8am – 5 pm working hours daily).

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree (or local equivalent) is preferred- in a medical/scientific discipline or relevant work experience in a comparable role.
• 0-2 years of clinical diagnostics or biotech market experience (hospital, lab, &/or clinical diagnostics company)
• A general understanding of statistical data is required with Microsoft Excel capabilities required.
• Knowledge and/or POCT or lab testing is a PLUS for this position.
• Fluent in English and Chines is required. Other languages (ie- Korean) would be a plus.
• Laboratory or medical experience is a PLUS.
