Nova Biomedical is hiring a Jr. SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) Business Analyst fully on-site in our Waltham, MA facility. The Junior SAP FICO Business Analyst will work closely with the key user areas including Finance, Controlling, Order Services, Sales, Distribution, and Manufacturing. Major focus will be on aligning with Finance team and ensuring the SAP FICO functions are configured and aligned to allow efficient use of the system. Will be directly involved with the rollout of the Nova SAP global template to our subsidiaries. This person leverages and applies hands-on experience in systems analysis, business process analysis, data analysis, and workflow to configure and develop SAP business processes and solutions that meet operational, performance, and reporting requirements. This person will also aid in preparing user documentation and conducting training and support to help facilitate the efficient use of SAP. Other responsibilities include:

• Knowledge of Finance and Controlling modules including GL, AP, AR, Taxes, Bank accounting, Asset accounting, Cost Object Controlling, Profit Center Accounting, and COPA.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements related to financial processes.
• Work closely with the business to understand the business problems and help find appropriate solutions.
• Support the configuration and customization of SAP FICO modules to meet client needs.
• Assist in conducting user training and providing ongoing support.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to project documentation, including functional specifications and test plans.
• Ability and desire to continuously strengthen skills.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Alternating between standing and sitting.
  • May require occasional lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds.
    Keyboarding and near visual acuity.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Skills and Competencies:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service skills, and strong
• SAP functional skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as being a collaborative team member.
• Knowledge of SAP FICO module with support experience.
• SAP project lifecycle implementation experience is a plus.
• Certification in SAP FI and CO modules is a plus.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field required.
• 1-2 years work experience preferred.
