Nova Biomedical is hiring a Salvage /PCB Specialist on our Point of Care Meters Line in our Lexington Rd, Billerica, MA facility on the First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). The Salvage/PCB Specialist will:

• Perform PCB salvage and repair: review board assemblies for salvage and refurbish as necessary.
• Work with equipment such as: small hand tools, overhead torque drivers, and computers.
• Perform testing with Windows applications to test devices.
• Read and follow procedures for salvage and test.
• Work within group and with management to generate and enact continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with potentially biohazardous material.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Read, Follow, and explain procedures being used.
• Use a variety of hand tools, including soldering equipment, and computers.
• Have a good understanding of quality control and ability to recognize defects.
• have the ability to communicate effectively with supervision and engineering.
• Have the ability to understand and complete paperwork correctly.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to read and speak English.
• Soldering certification
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to work using a microscope.
• Hand soldering per IPC standards.
• The ability to stand or sit while working for extended periods.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Soldering certification.
• More than 1 year of relevant manufacturing or production experience
