Nova Biomedical is hiring a European Connectivity Implementation Specialist to be based in Turkey. This position involves connectivity support and training for Nova clinical devices and connectivity software programs, as well as working with hospital IT groups for HIS/LIS devices interfacing. The position involves working with Turkish clinical product distributor & sub-dealers, Turkish end-user customers, and IT groups from software and HIS/LIS providers. This position is intended to provide high level connectivity support for mainly post-sales processes, such as blood-gas, meter, and post-sale connectivity implementations. Other responsibilities include:
- Providing Connectivity Support, remotely and on site as needed to our Clinical Products Distributor in Turkey and records all support activities via Nova’s CRM system.
- Leading/Coordinating Nova clinical devices interfacing with hospital LIS/HIS systems and/or Nova connectivity software and middleware programs.
- Working with local Turkish HIS companies to develop and customize device interfaces and communication protocols for Nova systems.
- Performing dealer, sub-dealers and customers product connectivity trainings in Turkey as needed.
- Performing/assisting clinical Turkish dealer(s) with connectivity requirements for post-sale devices implementation/installation including data transfer for validations.
- Performing/assisting local Turkish clinical dealer for StatStrip & StatSensor meter configurations and data-transfer and interfacing for needed pre- and post-sales meters studies, implementations and validation processes.
- Providing customer telephone/remote/onsite 1st/2nd level support as a backup for Turkish clinical dealer(s).
- Providing applications related connectivity support for dealers/sub-dealers, and customers.
- Providing pre-sales connectivity presentations and support.
- Working with Local Distributor to prioritize Software upgrades and product updates as needed.
- Being responsible for complaint escalation and resolution through the appropriate channels in Europe and/or US Technical Support and Quality
- Contributing to “Critical Account Management Program” call with Local Distributor to ensure customer issues are followed through and addressed.
- Reviewing all pertinent information such as Customer Information Bulletins and Technical Information Bulletins with the local Distributor and Sub Distributors as appropriate.
- The key responsibilities will be supplemented by target agreements.
Qualifications:
- Must be a strong collaborator with good IT project management skills.
- Diagnostics industry experience related to connectivity product support is ideal for this position.
- Direct experience with Bedside Glucose Meters, Blood Gas systems and/or clinical chemistry systems is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Turkish, with excellent oral and written communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including off-schedule hours to support global needs, and able to travel up to 40% within Turkey, with possible travel to Europe/US for training and business meetings.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a self-motivated, coachable mindset, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
Skills and Competencies:
- Very good understanding of Point of Care testing and eHealthcare communication protocols (HL7, ASTM).
- A working knowledge and understanding of Web Interfaces, Relational Databases, SQL commands, and Windows servers.
- Wireless device (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) experience.
- A solid understanding of TCP/IP and wireless networking.
- Experience in remote troubleshooting of computer software by using remote applications (RDP, TeamViewer, AnyDesk, uVNC, etc.)
- A strong Customer Focus – willing to go the extra mile to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, analytical thinking, and excellent customer-facing presentation skills, with the ability to handle stressful situations, multi-task effectively, remain flexible, and adapt to changing priorities.
Education/Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree (or local equivalent) in Computer Science.
- A minimum of 3 years of connectivity/IT experience in a healthcare, hospital or related setting, &/or working in a related role with an IT company working in a medical diagnostics or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of IT/Network administration experience would be a plus.
- Fieldwork experience is ideal.
