**Job Summary:**
Nova Biomedical is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our team at the Waltham, MA facility. This is a hybrid role in Waltham, MA. In this role, you will undertake software engineering tasks of a basic degree of complexity, including coding, testing, preparing Software Design Documents, and participating in design and code reviews.

**Responsibilities:**
- Code complex software modules under the guidance of a Lead or Senior Software Engineer.
- Test and debug software modules.
- Participate in design and code reviews of modules and functions.
- Implement Verification Scripts and Validation Test Protocols.

**Qualifications:**
- Basic understanding of software design and development processes.
- Proficiency in the chosen software language.
- Knowledge of the operating system used, encapsulation, variable and method scope, debugging tools, and techniques.

**Education/Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 2 - 4 years of related experience.
- Experience in software development using C# and C++; familiarity with SQL, .Net, and Visual Studio is a plus.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
