Nova Biomedical is hiring a Customer Support Specialist to communicate, primarily by telephone, with end-users to solve technical problems and answer questions related to the operation and maintenance of their products.
More specific responsibilities will include:
- Communicate with end users, Field Service Specialists, Clinical Applications and Field Sales representatives to resolve technical problems and answer questions.
- Provide support and escalate issues to the POC Installation and Support Specialists when necessary.
- Enter details of each call including steps taken to resolve problems and/or answer questions into the Pivotal Database.
- Generate Return Material Authorizations (RMA) to replace damaged or defective products and consumables.
- Assist in the training of new Customer Support Specialists.
- On occasion, take part in special projects for customers or the Technical Support department.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Graduate with strong emphasis in Laboratory Sciences,
Chemistry, Biology, or Electronics. Associates or BS degree preferred.
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years' Customer Support experience is preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- Must be an effective communicator with strong analytical skills.
- Experience with Point-of-Care, Clinical Laboratory, Biotechnology or Research
Laboratory settings is a plus.
- A solid understanding of Nova products and core technologies including hardware and software a plus.
