Nova Biomedical is hiring a Planar Sensor Assembler I on the First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) in our Waltham, MA facility. The primary job function is to perform the operations necessary to assemble and label consumable Planar sensor product to meet both internal and external customer demands. Other functions may include prepping sensor cards, UV epoxying, and packaging. Other responsibilities include:

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities Include:

• Ability to perform assembler and labeling processes for various Planar Sensor consumable products by utilizing air press machines, fixtures, UV dispenser, and UV cure box.
• Ability to work with various packaging equipment such as: automated/manual tape machines, auto bag machines, heat sealers and other packaging devices. Versatility and ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position.
• Ability to be dependable, willing to learn, adapt to change and have a positive attitude.
• Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions and related documentation to assemble, label, and package various product is required.

Qualifications:

• Good math skills.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written
• A strong attention to detail.

Skills and Competencies:

• QSR/ISO regulations; AP, TP, OI, and OP training are a plus.

Education/Experience:

• High School/Trade School diploma.
• 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
