Nova Biomedical is hiring a PCB Designer in our Waltham, MA facility. The PCB designer will create printed circuit boards from schematics using PCB Software, and Pads software. Essential Responsibilities include: laying out PC boards using Pads; creating component footprints in Pads running design checks on the PC database; and sending databases to PCB Fabrication companies for prototypes.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to handle multitasking

• Ability to pay attention to details

• Ability to design high density pc boards

• Ability to create all related dwgs to manufacture boards

• Ability to use pads pcb software and view logic software

• Ability to propose technical solutions to management

• Ability to effectively communicate with management

• Understanding of the development process from concept through production

• Proficiency in verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in written communication skills

Qualifications:

• Certification in pcb design layout

• Complete knowledge of pads power pcb

• 6-8 years of PCB Design layout

Skills and Competencies:

• Competent in the use of PADS Power PCB

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma/ Certification in PCB design
