About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative and customer-focused company. Nova Biomedical is a global leading supplier of analytical instruments, consumables and test kits for the clinical, biopharmaceutical, food and beverage industries.

Our aftermarket service business is a critical revenue engine, driving customer retention, operational uptime, and long-term account expansion.

The Aftermarket Service Sales Specialist is responsible for managing and growing service revenue across an assigned installed base of customers. This role owns the proactive selling of service contracts, renewals, warranty conversions, preventative maintenance programs, and service upgrades across biopharma portfolios.

This is a quota-bearing, consultative sales role that requires strong customer engagement, disciplined pipeline management, and the ability to position service value as a strategic investment, not a transactional renewal. The successful candidate will work closely with Inside Sales, Field Sales, Service Operations, and Customer Service to ensure predictable, recurring revenue growth and a world-class customer experience.

What you’ll do

Aftermarket Revenue Ownership

  • Own and execute the aftermarket service sales strategy for an assigned territory and installed base, including service contract renewals, warranty expirations, preventative maintenance (PM), and service upgrades.
  • Proactively identify and engage customers with expiring warranties, lapsed service coverage, or uncovered installed assets to drive service adoption and contract growth.
  • Position multi-year service agreements and bundled offerings to increase contract value, retention, and revenue predictability.

Customer Engagement & Consultative Selling

  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer workflows, risk tolerance, uptime requirements, and budget cycles.
  • Clearly articulate the value of service coverage, preventative maintenance, and compliance support in regulated biopharma environments.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, balancing commercial objectives with long-term account health and satisfaction.

Pipeline Management & Forecasting

  • Build, manage, and maintain an accurate aftermarket opportunity pipeline within the CRM.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts for renewals, warranty conversions, and service opportunities.
  • Maintain strong opportunity hygiene, including clear next steps, close dates, and customer engagement documentation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product Management, Customer Service, Service Operations, and Field Service Engineers to align service offerings, scope, and delivery expectations/
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales and Field Sales teams to identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities tied to new instrument placements or upgrades.
  • Work with Finance and Contracts teams to support pricing, approvals, and contract execution.

Systems, Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Utilize CRM and sales enablement tools to track customer interactions, service assets, and contract status.
  • Maintain accurate installed base data and proactively flag data gaps or service coverage risks.
  • Provide feedback to management on service trends, customer objections, competitive offerings, and process improvement opportunities.

Professional Contribution

  • Participate in regional or national customer meetings, trade shows, or service-focused events as required.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused sales culture through professionalism, accountability, and teamwork
