About the role

The Replenishment Associate is responsible for daily put-away of finished goods and raw materials. The individual supports instrument manufacturing through picking raw materials and operates various warehouse equipment related to warehouse activities.

What you’ll do

Replenishment Associate

  • Put away finished goods received internally or from other Nova plants
  • Put away raw materials received
  • Pick work orders to support instrument manufacturing
  • Pick STOs for Waltham raw materials stored at 4 Enterprise Road
  • Pick MIT orders for internal Nova customers
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Complete general warehouse duties
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
  • Report location discrepancies
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
  • Provide backup support as an Order Processor / Shipper

Order Processor

  • Pick domestic and international customer orders using handheld scanners and automated picking systems
  • Fulfill internal requisitions (R&D, reagents, QC, technical services, etc.)
  • Maintain location integrity and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices when picking, moving, or storing materials

Shipper

  • Verify customer orders for accuracy
  • Package orders to ensure safe, damage-free shipment and meet customer-specific requirements
  • Generate bills of lading and record seal numbers for truck shipments
  • Load domestic and international shipments with freight carriers and obtain driver signatures

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

  • Assist with training and onboarding of new employees
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and report unsafe conditions
  • Apply practical problem-solving approaches
  • Maintain accurate and organized records
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
  • Backfill within the department as needed

What we are looking for in you

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • 2+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, delivery, or related experience
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive motions for an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Experience with inventory management systems preferred
  • Strong accuracy and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills
  • Demonstrates initiative and continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong sense of urgency and time management
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of quality systems preferred
  • Familiarity with UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and USPS preferred
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
  • SAP experience strongly preferred
  • High standard of personal performance
  • High school diploma or GED required

Work Location: on-site in our [location] facility 5 days/week

Targeted Salary Range: $22 - $23/hour

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
