Nova Biomedical: One Global Brand. One Vision. Together under one name.
Advanced Instruments and Nova Biomedical are now united under one brand, Nova Biomedical, marking a major milestone in our journey to deliver greater value to our customers. By combining our strengths, we're accelerating innovation, supporting critical workflows, and delivering world-class service across the biopharmaceutical and clinical markets.
Job Summary:
The International Key Account Manager, Cell Line Development, will play a key role in driving the international growth of Nova’s Solentim portfolio across strategic Biotech, Biopharma, CDMO, and academic accounts.
Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding customer relationships within the Cell Line Development market, with a strong focus on revenue growth across the full Solentim ecosystem, including instruments, software, reagents, consumables, and service contracts. The Solentim portfolio supports critical Cell Line Development workflows, including single-cell seeding, clonality assurance, high-throughput imaging, clone monitoring, clone selection, data management, and cell growth optimization.
- The International Key Account Manager will be accountable for identifying, qualifying, developing, progressing, and closing high-value sales opportunities within assigned international territories and strategic accounts. This individual will be expected to build deep account knowledge, understand customer workflows, map key stakeholders, identify scientific, technical, and business pain points and growth objectives, and position Solentim solutions as a differentiated platform to help customers improve the speed, confidence, efficiency, documentation, and regulatory robustness of their Cell Line Development processes.
- This role requires a strong combination of scientific credibility, consultative selling skills, strategic account management, commercial discipline, and hands-on execution. The successful candidate must be able to engage credibly with a broad range of stakeholders involved in the buying process, from Cell Line Development scientists, laboratory managers, platform leaders, and process development teams to key decision-making functions such as manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs, procurement, service, IT, executive leadership, and other business stakeholders.
- The International Key Account Manager will operate with a structured and disciplined sales methodology, including territory planning, account mapping, opportunity creation, pipeline development, qualification of customer needs, value-based selling, competitive positioning, negotiation, deal execution, forecast accuracy, and rigorous Salesforce.com utilization.
- A key priority will be to grow Solentim adoption within both existing and new accounts by identifying where customers are using traditional, manual, fragmented, or competitive approaches to Cell Line Development. The candidate will need to understand how customers currently perform limiting dilution, single-cell isolation, imaging, clonality documentation, outgrowth monitoring, clone selection, protein biologic characterization, data tracking, and regulatory documentation, and then position Solentim as a more integrated, automated, scalable, and confidence-building solution.
- The role will also focus on systematic installed base expansion. The International Key Account Manager will be expected to understand where Solentim instruments are installed, identify underpenetrated sites and laboratories, drive cross-selling between instruments, software, reagents, consumables, and service contracts, and ensure customers are supported with the appropriate level of scientific, technical, commercial, and service engagement.
- Close collaboration with Field Application Scientists, Inside Sales Representatives, Product Management, Marketing, Service, Customer Service, and regional commercial teams will be critical. The International Key Account Manager will work closely with Field Application Scientists to assess customer workflows, prepare and execute product demonstrations, address technical objections, support evaluations, and help customers understand the tangible value of Solentim technologies. The role will also collaborate with Inside Sales to build prospecting strategies, qualify leads, create new opportunities, and expand engagement across target accounts.
- The International Key Account Manager will contribute actively to market intelligence and voice-of-customer initiatives by sharing structured feedback on customer needs, workflow challenges, competitive dynamics, product performance, pricing sensitivity, purchasing behavior, and future innovation opportunities. This feedback will support Sales Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, Applications, and other stakeholders in shaping commercial strategy and long-term portfolio growth.
- This individual will also contribute to Solentim brand awareness and market development by representing Nova at customer meetings, scientific conferences, trade shows, workshops, webinars, and industry events. The candidate should be able to deliver compelling scientific and commercial presentations, support customer advocacy initiatives, identify potential KOLs, and strengthen Solentim’s credibility in the Cell Line Development market.
- The successful candidate will be highly field-oriented, customer-focused, and execution-driven, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles, coordinate internal resources, and take full ownership of quarterly and annual sales performance.
