Job Summary:

The Machine Operator (Prep Operator) at Nova Biomedical will help in the production of medical biosensors by operating some of the equipment necessary for the preparation of materials. This person will be trained and cross-trained to operate various stations including: lasers, optical gauging devices, continuity tester stations, lamination stations, inspection stations, and a variety of cutting equipment.

This position starts off as a 40 hour a temporary position. Conversion is based on meeting the minimum requirements of product production, overall performance and attendance. If you meet those requirements, you will be considered for a fulltime permanent position that is benefits eligible. If you meet all the performance requirements, you will be converted within 90 days.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours at a time and perform repetitive motion.
• The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for quality, will be dependable, will work well in a team, and will possess a positive attitude.
• Experience operating Process Equipment or Machine Operations a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to pass an English comprehension test.

Targeted Salary Range: $20/hr
