Nova Biomedical: One Global Brand. One Vision. Together under one name.

Advanced Instruments and Nova Biomedical are now united under one brand, Nova Biomedical, marking a major milestone in our journey to deliver greater value to our customers. By combining our strengths, we're accelerating innovation, supporting critical workflows, and delivering world-class service across the biopharmaceutical and clinical markets.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative and customer-focused company. Nova Biomedical is a global leading supplier of analytical instruments, consumables and test kits for the clinical, biopharmaceutical, food and beverage industries.

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a critical role in driving pipeline creation, opportunity progression, and revenue execution across key biopharma accounts in Europe (Germany). This role is not transactional; it is a consultative, revenue-generating position that partners closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs), Product Management, Marketing, and Service to ensure strong pipeline health and commercial execution.
This role is instrumental in scaling revenue, accelerating deal velocity, and supporting strategic account growth during a period of portfolio expansion and integration.

The Sales Representative is responsible for selling the Nova Biomedical biopharma product line, covering the BioProfile and Osmometer portfolios within the defined territory. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that sales objectives are met or exceeded within acceptable profit goals.

Responsibilities:

Revenue & Funnel Generation:

Own inbound and outbound lead engagement for assigned territory and product portfolio(s), including rapid response to web leads, marketing campaigns, events, and service-generated opportunities.

  • Develop, qualify, and advance sales opportunities through structured discovery, needs assessment, and consultative dialogue.
  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting and multi-touch cadences to generate new pipeline, expand existing accounts, revive dormant opportunities, and accelerate stalled deals.
  • Partner with Key Account Managers to ensure continuous funnel coverage, effective opportunity handoff, and deal progression while field sales are traveling or focused on closing activities.

Aftermarket Revenue Ownership:

  • Own and execute the aftermarket service sales strategy for an assigned territory and installed base, including service contract renewals, warranty expirations, preventative maintenance (PM), and service upgrades.
  • Proactively identify and engage customers with expiring warranties, lapsed service coverage, or uncovered installed assets to drive service adoption and contract growth.
  • Position multi-year service agreements and bundled offerings to increase contract value, retention, and revenue predictability.

Sales Execution & Deal Support:

  • Support all stages of the sales cycle, including qualification, demonstrations coordination, quoting, follow-up, negotiation support, and post-sale engagement.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotations in collaboration with field sales, product management, and service teams. Maintain strong product, application, and competitive knowledge to position solutions effectively and address customer objections.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer procurement teams to streamline purchasing and approval processes.

Systems, Process & Forecasting:

  • Leverage CRM and sales enablement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.) to manage pipeline, execute outreach, and maintain accurate customer and opportunity data.
  • Provide timely, accurate pipeline updates and forecasting for assigned territory and opportunities.
  • Maintain disciplined account and time management practices to maximize productivity and responsiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and lead follow-up strategies.
  • Partner with Service and Aftermarket teams to identify expansion opportunities, service-to-instrument conversion opportunities, and installed-base growth.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to communicate customer feedback, application insights, and competitive intelligence.

Professional Contribution

  • Represent Nova Biomedical professionally with customers, peers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in regional, national, or virtual trade shows, webinars, and customer events as requested.
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performance sales culture through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of sales or related experience (inside sales, business development, or account support preferred).
  • Experience in life sciences, biopharma, biotech, medical devices, analytical instrumentation, or SaaS strongly preferred.
  • High level of comfort with sales technology and enablement platforms (CRM required; outreach platforms a strong plus).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and support field sales teams effectively.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and German is required.
